the following conversation happened last monday, lunchtime.. it so happened that in our Business Unit (BU), all male managers are required to wear a tie every monday..
Mark (an engineer from my former BU): o sir, bakit hindi ka naka-kurbata?
LoN: baket? manager ba ko?
Mark: sige, ipagpe-pray kong maging manager ka rin..
LoN: hayuf ka..!
go figure.

suddenly i was thinking the other day.. and it sure makes me ponder to no end, that what i do right now is not the career that i wanted all along when i took up my degree in college.. did i take the wrong path in school, or did i make the wrong way after school? well of course it may have been a different story if i'm earning above my defined satisfactory income level.. then i asked myself again.. what if it is the case.. then i came into a conclusion.. this is not for me.. i want to shift direction.. if i just can quit right now, i'll do it.. but times are hard and we have no relation whatsoever to the Ayala's, Tan's, or Sy's.. there's no room for indecisiveness anymore.. had not for it, baka nasa Taiwan na din ako, taking a shot at the overseas-job thing.. i've some plans and schemes, i'll just wait and see.. as for now, i'm a day-to-day basis professional..
to andro: seryoso ako sa italian kitchen natin, hehe..
blogger's block's over, i think..
