push

push.. the catch phrase of the moment at work.. it is -actually a simple acronym in the tradition of 'italy' and 'japan' without the mush-mush bigelow.. it means 'Pray Until Something Happens.' that's how dire the situation of the business right now.. and me trying to jump out of the beleaguered ship at any given precious chance.. that's life. someone's got to play that role..

as a consequence, the word 'vacation' will be out of our vocabulary for the rest of the holiday season. tough. no more out-of-southern luzon sortie for me unlike last year. but come to think of it, it helps me save some moolah for all my debts and bills and on-line gaming career. i guess i is right.. isaac, that is, on his 3rd law of motion. on my personal metaphor, i can't still agree on i about that third rule..

still, i can't sense anyone giving me a holiday gift.. so officially this is a solicitation.. bwehehe.. in reality, it would be great, but i can do without it anyway.. i just cherish the thoughtfulness of someone giving me even a teenie-weenie token. though i seldom give gifts myself, just to those few people that i really really appreciate, except immediate family.. im so evil.

by the way, i got to watch 'troy' and 'alexander' this weekend.. i liked 'troy' better, though achilles is often referred to in the movie as alexander the great's descendant (there's even a huge portrait of the trojan war hero riding his chariot while dragging poor hector). i was a bit annoyed since there's a lot of storytelling and conversation scenes. i guess it was necessary for the audience to understand the story, unlike in 'troy' where the flow of the story is quite predictable: trojan steals spartan chick-spartan king whines to greek king brother-king brother went with the whole neighborhood to get back the chick-achilles fell in love in the process. simple, isn't it. i enjoyed both, though. hehe.

by the way, i'm back blogging. welcome to myself.
